Imagine.....you, your family and friends are transported back 30 years and are one of the lucky few to experience a live performance of the ORIGINAL STYX.....This is what Rockin’ the Paradise STYX TRIBUTE is all about....the chemistry, the passion, energy and note-for-note accuracy of a legendary and historic performance up close and personal. We invite you to relive it all over again, our version, our grand illusion.
What began in 1970, the popular American Rock Band STYX has remained a staple on the radio domestically and internationally as one of the greatest groups in rock music and the first and only band to have four consecutive multi-platinum albums. Rockin’ the Paradise focuses on STYX’s trademark high-pitched harmonies, mixed with dual-guitar assault, solid rhythm section as the driving force of talent and influential, flashy keyboards.
....It takes very special musicians to take on STYX’s often intricate music. Since the band’s inception in 2009, Rockin’ the Paradise fills venues to capacity with crowds standing, cheering and singling along to some of the greatest Top-10 hits of all time: “Come Sail Away”, “Lorelei”, “The Best of Times”, “Renegade”, “Blue Collar Man” and power ballads such as “Babe” and “Lady” and have quickly risen to the title of the # 1 STYX Tribute Band in America and one of the Top Tribute Bands in the world.
VAINGLORIOUS -
A Tribute To HEART, is based out of New York and is the east coast’s premier tribute band to Heart. The band captures the pure classic sounds of Heart’s music and live performances. The band delivers an electrifying show with a precise and unparalleled vocal and musical live stage performance. VAINGLORIOUS offers a 45 min up to a two hour concert featuring Heart’s classic hits from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, as well as the classic covers Heart is known to perform. Their powerful vocals & harmonies, explosive guitars, thunderous keyboards and a tight, heart pounding rhythm section will bring you to your feet, amaze you and have you wanting more! You will not be disappointed by the talent of these seasoned musicians!
Lennon and Katie are a very talented acoustic duo from Long Island. They perform for venues, events and fundraisers throughout Long Island and NYC, both as a duo and with their band Youth Be Told. Lennon is a prolific and accomplished songwriter, lyricist, and multi-instrumentalist. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The NYCB Theater at Westbury and The Paramount to name a few. Katie is a beautiful singer who was named one of “Long Island’s Rising Stars” by Newsday. She has been featured in special segments for Verizon/Fios and has also performed at Duck Stadium, Chelsea Mansion, Brookhaven Amphitheatre, and more. Their band’s EP was produced by iconic Grammy winning music producer Jack Douglas (Aerosmith, John Lennon, Cheap Trick, Zebra and many others). Together, Lennon and Katie have created a combination of music and harmonies that are beautiful, captivating and timeless.
