The Concert for Bangladesh Re-visited (An All Star Tribute to George Harrison)
This show will be held right on George Harrisons birthday .
In 1971 Harrison held the first large scale rock and roll benefit at Madison Square Garden for the people of Bangladesh using sitars and other Indian instruments and of course he had superstars Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan Leon Russel ,Badfinger , Billy Preston and more .
For 3 years in a row 2007-08 & 09 Wonderous Stories along with a super big band played the George Harrison’s "Concert for Bangladesh" in it’s entirety at BB Kings Club in Manhattan to sold out audiences . We again played the show in 2011 and 2013 at The Highline Ballroom . In those years special guests have included members and former members of... Badfinger , Paul McCartneys Wings , Alan Parsons Project, Vanilla Fudge, The Hooters, Zebra, Tower of Power, Ted Nugent, Dire Straits, The Soul Survivors and much more. We have also had people who were behind the scenes at the original 1971 Bangladesh show and special guest promoter Sid bernstien (Beatles at Shea).

After a few years hiatus the band is back and ready to finally play the show on Long Island . Plans are already in the works to make this the most memorable of them all with very special guests to be announced and added to the show as we get closer. We already have many of the performers confirmed from the bands mentioned above and are ready to add some notable national performers ! The bigger stage at the Space at Westbury will help out the extremely big band.

Sit back and enjoy the massive Wall of Sound as we present the"Concert for Bangladesh" plus extra songs performed by our guests who made them famous and some George songs that were sorely missed at the original show !!!! A portion of the money from this show will be donated to the Saint Judes Childrens cancer hospital in the memory of George Harrison who died of cancer in 2001 !

Here are the amazing band members and some of who they’ve played with . Some BIG names will be added as we get closer to the date . Some of our biggest guests were last minute !!
