This all-star production is set to premier on July 26Th, 2014 at “The Space” in Westbury, New York. Starring Dancing with the Stars, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, and teen superstar, Zendaya, SWAY presents the glamour and passion of ballroom and latin dancing in a whole new way. Audiences can expect a spectacular visual scope, original choreography, a fusion of multiple dance styles, and incredible performances from Dance With Me professionals.
This is a rare opportunity to take a peak into the lives of Maks, Tony, and Val off the stage of Dancing with the Stars, and on the stage of Dance With Me… live and in person! Divided into three parts, each anchored by one of the show’s stars, SWAY whisks audiences through the timeless elegance of ballroom’s golden era, to modern dance fusion of today’s urban youth, climaxing with the heart pounding rhythms of the Latin night club scene. Featuring innovative choreography from two of ballroom’s emerging standout artists: Joao Tiago Fernandes and David Thomas Moore, with mesmerizing visuals, and an interactive audience experience, SWAY is guaranteed to delight theater goers, and take live theatrical ballroom dancing to a brand new level.
“The Space” is an iconic venue that first opened its doors in November of 1927, and has recently been renovated to include a state of the art sound and lighting system, stylish décor, flexible seating, and four full bars. It is a perfect venue for a dance show as grand as SWAY, and the VIP after party to follow.
