Sasy is one of the most recognizable and controversial figures in modern Persian pop and rap music. Born in Ahvaz,
Iran, in 1988, Sasy rose to fame in the mid-2000s as part of Iran’s underground music scene, gaining popularity with
upbeat party tracks that blended Persian pop, rap, and dance music.
Known for his catchy hooks, playful lyrics, and viral hits, Sasy quickly built a massive fanbase among young Iranians
both inside Iran and across the diaspora. Songs such as GENTLEMAN, DOCTOR, TEHRAN TOKYO, and MARMOOLAK
became cultural phenomena, generating millions of streams and dominating Persian social media. His music is often
energetic, provocative, and intentionally designed to spark conversation.
Sasy’s career has also been marked by controversy. In Iran, his music has repeatedly drawn criticism from
conservative media and authorities because of its lyrics, imagery, and influence on younger audiences. He was
arrested in 2010 and has frequently been at the center of public debates about censorship, youth culture, and
freedom of expression in Iranian entertainment.
After leaving Iran, Sasy lived in Malaysia before eventually relocating to the United States, where he continued
expanding his career internationally. His audience now spans the globe, with sold-out concerts in North America,
Europe, and beyond. Despite criticism, his influence on Persian pop culture remains enormous. He is widely credited
with reshaping Persian party music and creating a style that bridges underground Persian rap with mainstream pop
appeal.
Today, Sasy remains one of the most-streamed Persian artists worldwide, admired by fans for his charisma and hitmaking
ability, while also remaining one of the most polarizing figures in Iranian music.

Concert for Bangladesh re-visited-November 28th 2026 @ The Space at Westbury
In 1971 Harrison held the first large scale and historic rock and roll benefit at Madison Square Garden for the people of Bangladesh . They used sitars and other Indian instruments and of course he had superstars Eric Clapton ,Bob Dylan Leon Russel ,Badfinger , Billy Preston and more .
One of the great things about this show is that a portion of the money goes to St Judes Childrens Cancer Hospital !
Wonderous Stories,along with a huge band(choir ,horn section , sitars & more) will play the entire original concert aprox 1 1/2 hrs and then we call up some national acts who have had hits in the 60's , 70's and 80's and play some of their hits with them .
This will be the 10th & 11th time we will play this show. We will be retiring this amazing show after these 2 performances. Each show will be a little bit different with some song changes and a few different people each night .
In the past we've had national musicians doing the show with us including members of WINGS, BADFINGER, VANILLA FUDGE, HOOTERS, BILLY JOEL'S BAND , SOUL SURVIVORS and more.
We'll be adding and announcing others to this years show as we get closer.

RAEL-The Music of Genesis and Peter Gabriel is a New York and Northern New Jersey-based tribute band that recaptures the energy and originality of the “early years” live stage performances by Genesis. RAEL pays homage to the most groundbreaking and influential band in the progressive rock genre by incorporating the musical excellence, lyrical storytelling, and theatricality that brought Genesis to a position of prominence in the rock world. RAEL-The Music of Genesis brings older listeners back to the day, while introducing progressive rock newcomers to the sights and sounds right along with other legendary bands such as Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Yes, Rush and King Crimson to name but a few. RAEL is focused on faithfully reproducing full album versions from the Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett days of Genesis. Performances include tracks from Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway and A Trick of the Tail. Since 2014, concert audiences rave about their high energy shows and musical detail. RAEL also performs solo Peter Gabriel hits in their live shows.
